Busy day planting almost 300 bulbs!

Got the first big autumn bulb planting session underway today with a fabulous selection of Tulips and Narcissi, only a few Alliums to go in now and we'll be done!
Instead of digging individual holes for each bulb, we dug a wide and shallow trench about 6-8 inches deep and sat all our bulbs in the bottom before covering them up. This is a technique we've seen other flower growers use, and enables you to plant bulbs more closely together, maximising the space.
This is what we planted today;
30 x Daffodil Ice Follies 30 x Narcissi Delnashaugh
30 x Narcissi Sweet Pompomette
25 x Tulip Angelique
25 x Tulip Sunlover
25 x Tulip La Belle Epoque
30 x Tulip Apricot Beauty 30 x Tulip Alabaster 30 x Tulip Queen Of Night And soon to go in;
15 x Allium Angulosm
15 x Allium Mont Blanc
